The pictures over-sell this place. It looks cleaner, and more modern than it is. The mattress was VERY firm--uncomfortably so for me. I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Joan in Saranda. The hotel is located in a perfect spot, next to the bus station and very close to the seawalk. My room was spotless clean, with a nice balcony and excellent breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Saranda.
