The diplomatic relations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Albania were established on Wednesday 26/08/1992 in order to strengthen and develop friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries.
The opening of the Embassy of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Albania took place in January of 2012 - and the Ambassador / Yusuf bin Hassan AlSaie, presented his credentials as Extraordinary Ambassador and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Albania, on Friday, 27/1/2012 .
