Fantastic authentic stay in a historical house in the old castle of Berat. The Room was very interesting with lots of attention to little details--carved wooden ceilings, floor coverings, etc. But also with a nice modernized bathroom with everything functional. Our room had a spectacular view of the sunset over the river valley. The family that runs the place and other employees were extremely friendly and accomodating. The food was all excellent, and our stay included a breakfast with homemade jams and cheese. Very highly recommended for any stay in Berat, and worth the trip just to stay.

A family run hotel and restaurant where I felt at home. Nice traditional cosy room, warm atmosphere in general and then....the food��. As a Romanian I got back in my childhood seeing the mousaka , the stuffed aubergines, the delicious preserves. The Berat Castle is a piece of Heaven and Bora, Leonida, Xenopole and little Klea are very special people to whom I wish all the best Luck in the world. Love you guys�
